Indiana University, Postdoctoral Fellow - Led data-acquisition system development, support, and maintenance for the MiniBooNE experiment. Analyzed neutral current elastic scattering, and neutron capture.

May 1997 - July 2001
Iowa State University, Research Assistant - Searched for evidence of neutral technicolor particle production at the DØ experiment. Brought to completion and publication the search for quark compositeness using the large $H_T$ spectrum. Directed testing of SVX sequencer cards, which coordinate readout and control of $\sim 800K$ channels from the DØ-RunII detector.

August 1994 - May 1997
Iowa State University, Teaching Assistant - Conducted recitation sessions and taught general physics labs for engineering students. Frequently tutored individual students. Co-authored and taught a 1-hour lab course in computational methods for undergraduate physics majors.

August 1992 - August 1994
Creighton University, Teaching Assistant - Taught general physics labs to pre-med students, conducted physics problem discussion sessions, and proctored exams. Tutored many individual students. Taught discussion sessions for an Introduction to Astronomy class. Performed research for M.S. thesis in conjunction with teaching responsibilities.

Labat-Anderson Incorporated, Omaha, NE, Analyst I (part-time, while working on M.S. at Creighton) - Wrote, edited, and documented environmental studies (e.g. environmental impact statements) performed for U.S. military installations. Designed and maintained databases of environmental documents.

March 1990 - August 1992
Utility Data Systems, Monroe, La, Programmer and Consultant - Developed database software to manage utility bills and property-tax accounting for small municipalities. Trained software users. Researched and designed software that increased billing efficiency for a long distance phone company.

Spring 1987 - May 1989
Louisiana Tech University, Laboratory Assistant - Taught undergraduate physics labs for engineering students, taught a weekly problem discussion, and tutored students. Helped re-write lab manual used in the physics labs for undergraduate engineering students.

May 1984 - May 1994
U.S. Army National Guard. Rose from tank crewman to tank commander to platoon leader in an M-1 Tank Armor unit (Louisiana). Participated (stateside) in Operation Desert Shield/Storm 1990-1991. Staff officer in Mechanized Infantry unit (Nebraska). Highest rank held: Captain.
