Subject: Alan Stone - Cern accounts

Dear Alan,

your Cern accounts are now ready.  Your login name is
"alstone" and   the initial password  XXXXXX, where
the second X is in capital, followed by five XXXXXX.
During the following few days you have to change this
password in two independent systems:

1)  linux-afs:
    ssh alstone@lxplus.cern.ch
    kpasswd

2)  nice-novell-mailserver:
    http://mmm.cern.ch
and follow the link "change password"
There you can also define where your e-mails should go,
as the generic address  Alan.Stone@cern.ch
  is an alias now pointing to your address
   alstone@fnal.gov

The linux-afs password is used in CMS related jobs and
documents, and the nice-novell-mailserver password with
many IT-departement services, like for the registration
of a laptop at CERN. The passwords are independent from
each other.
