10 fields by 6 columns of the SDSS strip with the HDF field: the HDF is in the third column from the bottom, just a bit to the left of center: the triplet of 2 stars and an elliptical in the lower right corner of the image above is readily visible. The area shown here is about 10 sq-degrees. As of May 2003, the SDSS had covered 5000 sq-degrees of sky.
