What is the difference between Machines and Humans?

  • When a person overheats, they sweat. When a machine overheats, it just stops working.
  • In a human, when an artery is blocked, blood finds another path to the heart. When a wire is cut or blocked in a machine, it stops working.
  • When traffic builds up on the expressway, a person can get off the road and take a side street. A robot car would only be able to use the streets that it is programmed to use.
  • Cells in living organisms can repair themselves, while chips or other machinery are unable to fix themselves without human interference. A scrape or cut can repair itself and grow new cells but a machine cannot put itself back together.

How can machines be more like humans?
