Status of the Tevatron Survey and Shutdown Jobs              - Chuck Brown, 12/7/00

 

In this short talk I presented the current status of the shutdown work in the Tevatron tunnel and various graphs and tables detailing our accumulated knowledge on the surveyed position of the quads and dipoles in the Tevatron ring.  

 

1)     Word file: MSD Shutdown Work (Tevatron) by Mike Church with updates by me in green.

2)     Excel file of the Tevatron Quad survey data giving the history of surveys of quad elevations and offsets in the Tevtron. It also contains inbedded Excel graphs of quad elevations and offsets around the ring.

3)     ASCII flat file of Tevatron dipole roll data taken in the fall of 2000. I have indicated, with the symbol *** in the second column, those elements that probably should be fixed when convenient.

 

Note, I will try to update the survey files in items 2 and 3 when I receive copies of new survey measurements from the Alignment group.
