  • All applications 2 tier so far - trust Oracle Corp to get the details of server technology right.

• Working Implementations, APIs exist for interfacing to MSQL for development  and Oracle for production:

  1. File Catalog DB
     • uses the Oracle Template Library (OTL) treats database i/o as a stream, overload >> and << operators - nice.

     • Calibration DB

       • Offline -uses OCI

       • Online - uses JDBManager

     • Trigger DB - Online - JDBC

     • Hardware DB - Online - JDBC
