Support DB Status

This is a status report and collection of documents relating to the Support DB project as of January 11, 1999.

What is Support DB?

The mission of the Support DB Project is to identify and support common database issues for Run II for both D0 and CDF. In other words, this project will try to free up resources for both collaborations by reducing the duplication of effort.

The main areas of activity have been concentrated, or planned in the near term are:

  1. Oracle Infrastructure, Aministration, and Support
  2. Tutorials and How To's
  3. Shareware Database Evaluation
  4. Database Application Development
  5. Middleware
  6. Joint Development Projects 
    7. Dennis Box
