Introduction to ICOOL
Rick Fernow, Brookhaven National Laboratory

ICOOL is a Monte Carlo code used by the Muon Collaboration to help design the front end of proposed neutrino factories and muon colliders. Among other things ICOOL has been used to design phase rotation, transverse cooling and emittance exchange systems. We will give an introduction to the main features of ICOOL and show how it can be used to model several example configurations.
