Summary of July / August 2000 CERN ISR Test Data

The following table summarizes the conditions of the data taken for the July/August 2000 CERN ISR Test. It is primarily based on notations made in the FNAL logbook, but also makes use of the output log files, Event and Begin Run records, and headers of the datafiles. Notes:

• Several changes were made from the June ISR Tests (details in Log Book)
1. DAQ Readout is now 2 COM ports for DCOPS, 1 COM for HP.
2. Ztube on MAB lengthened.
3. et2 mounted on MAB and et1 shifted down.
4. Small adjustments in LDM302 and LDM301 were made
5. et0 (bracket sp1) and es1 (bracket 2) were swapped and partially retaped just prior to Run 464
• As with the June ISR runs, almost all runs have random errors from DSP output. Some lines are cut, some headers and important markers were lost. These runs should be checked prior to FLAP processing.
• DCOPS Temperature data was not recorded in any of these runs. Analog temperature readings are still available.
• Several ‘Bursts’ of HP Data were taken at various times and appended to a file. These burst are simply a large number of quick measurements on the analog sensors taken by the HP Unit. The bursts are time stamped and typically 200 or 50 cycles of measurments.
• The DAQ now breaks up the run into smaller, easier to handle files.
• Runs that were corrupted or had abnormal terminations have been marked in the table, but the files are simply too large to look for errors in data or data formating.
• There are many more notations and relevant information in the FNAL logbook. This table is only a summary is some information.

Important Note :

All Runs are Bi-Directional with 4 events per cluster (ie 4 LDM302 and 4 LDM303 events) with 30 sec LDM warmup, Lights Off, and “Doghouses” ON, and 300sec delay between clusters unless specifically noted.
