Summary of Present Filter Status      (17 May 2000)

The following bi-directional DCOPS sensors have been constructed, tested, and verified as potential ISR tape configurations.  Hyperlinks lead to .pdf files of best data set taken. The quality of the LDM determined many of the characteristics of peak shape; in fact quality of the vertical beam was so poor far measurements of the peaks (<10m) were essentially not useable.  I have assumed that the vertical LDM can eventually be tuned to the same quality as the horizontal LDM.  Hence, plots of far measurements utilize only the horizontal LDM line source.

Sensor Location*:

es1/10      80mm/1400mm

es2/9       300mm/14529mm

es5/6       3619mm/9801mm**

es4/7       3864mm/10726mm***  (Window 5)

es4/7       3864mm/10726mm***  (Window 6)

*   Sensor location is given in from LDM to midpoint of DCOPS CCD window

**  Sensor location 3619mm/9801mm should be moved to 5800mm/8800mm for CERN ISR.

    The filter solution presented is for 3619mm/9801mm.

*** It is presumed es4/7 solution will work for es3/8 (3860mm/10970mm), but this has not

    been confirmed empirically.

Notes:

========================================

CCD Window 1      80mm/14000mm locations

14000mm side = orange filter + yellow tape

80mm side = 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow tape

We also required a hut + black strip on top of wedge

========================================

========================================

CCD Window 1      300mm/14529mm locations

300mm = 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 yellow

14529mm = orange filter + yellow

We also required a hut + black strip on top of wedge

========================================

========================================

CCD Window 5      3619mm/9801mm locations

9801mm side = 1 red

3619mm side = 1 red + 1 white

no hut needed

*See CCD Window 6

========================================

========================================

CCD Window 6      3864mm/10726mm locations

10726mm side = 1 red

3864mm side = 1 red + 1 white

no hut needed*

*It seems the lower ccd, the one face up toward the florescent

lights is almost at saturation on background.  Clearly a hut is

needed here.  THIS IS PRESUMED TRUE FOR CCD WINDOW 5 (at the

3619mm/9801mm locations).
