The computing demon first described, where a computer examines a tunnel between two chambers at regular time intervals and opens and closes doors in such a way that molecules may travel from left to right but not right to left, is considerably more difficult to analyze using the informational entropy. To do this we constructed a computer program similar to the one Skordos and Zurek used to simulate Smoluchowski's mechanical demon.
