Uses of WWW at
Fermilab - Conclusions
At Fermilab, WWW is...
- Becoming one interface that almost everyone can be expected to know how to
- Becoming the mechanism of choice when there is a need to provide access to
online information for the general user, and
- Playing a crucial role in the delivery of information between researchers.
Uses are continuing to be found that go far beyond the original purposes of
facilitating collaboration and support activities in high energy physics
research for which WWW was originally developed.
