Parameters for Lyman-[Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr65.gif] forest in Triplet

The quantity we would like to limit is [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr66.gif], i.e. the ratio between the transverse comoving distance corresponding to the a small change in the measure wavelength, [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr67.gif], of a Ly-[Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr68.gif] absorption to the comoving transvese displacement corresponding to the change in the apparent angular position by and angle [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr69.gif]. Perhaps a more physical quantity is [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr70.gif]where &dgr;z gives small change in redshift of the Ly-[Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr71.gif] absorption. The two are related through the relation [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr72.gif] so [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr73.gif] where [Graphics:DzDangleSummarygr74.gif]. At the canonical wavelength of 4100Å for the triplet we are at z=2.35 .
