Detector Integration, Proto-Side Assemble full scale mockup of near detector side readouts and infrastructure. Model will include both detector edge and associated building supports and structure, and prototype infrastructure systems.

General assembly and gluing Open
FEB/DCM Testing Infrastructure Fabricate a test setup that can hold on the order of 64 front end boards in a small enclosure, along with cabling to a readout DCM. Enclosure will need to be small enough to either mount in a rack, or sit in Feynman at the NOvA test stand. (we can't just have 64 front end boards laying around over there during testing).

General assembly, some design work, access to a shop. Open
DAQ/DCS computing farm installation/configuration When the computing for the Near Detector on the surface arrives, the correct operating system and support software will need to be loaded and configured on the machines, and limited QA/QC burn in testing will need to be performed. Proper DAQ specs, basee configurations, and QA proceedures will be provided. Some assembly required, general computing, general linux system management.

FEB test DAQ interface Responsible for setup/maintenance of the FEB test stand DCM with a DAQ computer to act as a mini run control to control the test sequence. Scripting of tests, hardware and software installation. Expertise/training at the IPND installation may be of great value. Extensive interface with the DAQ software and hardware groups, and front-end board group is expected.

C++ and unix scripting experience helpful, workload expected to have high peak efforts during startup of tasks. Open
FEB test Database interface Responsible for analysis of data from test sequences and database entries for ~12,000 FEBs at the FEB test stand. Scripting of analysis suites and database entry is expected. Expertise/training at the IPND installation may be of great value. Extensive interface with the front-end board, databese, and possibly calibration groups is expected.

C++ and unix scripting experience helpful, workload expected to have high peak efforts during startup of tasks. Open
