ECAL+HCAL TB06 reconstruction(v.6) and
New in v.6: ECAL intercalibration
constants and adcToGeV constant, Ecal Local Reconstruction, TDC offset,
calib. runs(see below).
- For reconstruction CMSSW_0_8_1 is used
with the tags below.

- The runs that are
bad,test,led,pedestal (that is the runs that need not be reconstructed
for analysis) are: list
- Reconstructed runs for v6:
- For the runs 30466-30500 it's known
that table position is wrong in database. The table positions for these
are read form the table
- For the runs between 32648 and
32692 the table positions are wrong in the database. The table
positions for these runs are read form the table here.
- 31215-32048 : pi0 runs
- 28795-29111 : combined electron 50
GeV calib. runs
- 27561-27734, 27763-27841 : HCAL
only electron 50 GeV calib.
- Note: To read the data from local ecal
reconstruction the branch name should be changed to
- Configuration files:
- ECAL intercalibration constants: S1CCOSMICScombinationINTERCAL
: adcToGeVEBConstant = 0.0467
(this is specified in
makes a 8ns difference in the TDC offset - We re-reconstructed
runs(starting from run#31215) using correct offset in
Ecal2006TBH2TDCRanges_v0.cff w/o updating the code (to v00-06-03)
and again the reconstructed data is transferred to CERN.
tdcZero = 1050.5 for runs >=31031
tdcZero = 1058.5 for runs <=31032
- HCAL gains gains_tb06_v4.txt:
radioactive source and energy scale at 50 GeV pions ; HB2,HE,HO =
- HCAL Pedestals are calculated with the PedestalAnalyser and
subtracted run by run.

31215-32048 and 32049-32900 is reconstructed again and is being
to CASTOR with the new filenames:
the status from the PheDEx link TRANSFER COMPLETED.
files are already in /pnfs/cms/WAX/11/store/h2tb2006/reco/v06_v02/ in
dCache at FNAL.
files have the dataset name /h2tb2006/reco/v6_02.
30420 and 30421 are reconstructed again and put into
request from A. Ledoskoy (Since the table was moved during these runs
no local Ecal reco will be done):

- A more recent version
of CMSSW (for now CMSSW_1_2_0)
- Works only with the
additional Geometry/Calotopology package for test beam (tb06_hack Geometry/CaloTopology)
- Also the electronics
map should be of the correct form. It can be found here.
- The following tags
should be checked out (with their corresponding headre files in Geometry/CaloTopology/interface/
- Still, ECAL reconstruction with
new versions is not
- will have the new
wire source calibration constants
- HO Calibration constants:
- will have WC timing?
- Probable conflict of
EcalTBTDCReconstructor (for version v00-06-03) with
EcalTBH2LocalReadout(?) should be resolved. This happens when EcalTBTDCReconstructor
is used without the local readout (so it affects the pi0 runs).
